One Saturday I was going to my aunt’s shop in town. I went by foot and I saw many things like vehicles, people, buildings and children. I was shocked when I saw children on the street walking around alone.
When I reached my aunt’s shop, she asked me “What is wrong?” I told her what happened and she told me why the children are in the streets. Some of their parents died. Some of them have their parents but the kids move out because of problems. They start living in the street and start using drugs.
My aunt told me the life in the street is not easy. Some time they sleep in town on pavement, in the bushes or under cars. Even getting food is not easy. It is very upsetting to see children on the street all alone and it is an important issue to write about.
Children who stay on the street have many problems. They do not have good health because they sleep in the cold and they eat dirty food. I want to tell the president and prime minister to help the children who live on the street. They need food, clothes, and shelter. Like other children, I want to ask the president and prime minister, if they were one of the children on the streets, what would they do?
